What Hospice Care Includes

Our hospice team supports you at home, in assisted living, or in a nursing home. Services may include: nursing and physician oversight, medications related to comfort, medical equipment and supplies, social work support, chaplaincy, bath aides, therapy consults, and trained volunteers. Care is tailored to your goals and values.

Four Levels of Hospice Care

A doctor certifies a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness follows its usual course.

Coverage note: Medicare Part A covers hospice for eligible patients. Some costs may apply, such as a small copay for medications at home and up to 5% for respite. Room and board are generally not covered.
